Katie has been practicing Speech-Language Pathology at Clearly Speaking as a part-time employee since 2010. The Long Island native graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2000 with a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer the year following graduation, coordinating the Seacoast Reads Program at the University of New Hampshire. Katie worked full-time as a Speech-Language Assistant in a public school for two years before pursuing graduate studies at the University of New Hampshire in 2003. She has worked full-time in the public schools since earning her Master's degree in 2005. She has experience working with children who have a wide variety of speech and language needs. Katie strives to understand the unique needs of the children and families she works with. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children at her rural New Hampshire home.
